What is the difference between the PDP400AE0130 and PDP400AE0163?

The Modine PDP400AE0130 and PDP400AE0163 are the same 400,000 BTU/hr heater with different gas controls. Control code 30 is a single-stage natural gas control. Control code 63 is a two-stage natural gas control. Propane versions of the PDP400 use control codes 85 and 87.

Can a Modine PDP400 be connected to ductwork?

The Modine PDP400 is a propeller unit heater, and Modine states that propeller units must not be used with ductwork. A ducted job calls for the BDP400 instead. The BDP400 uses a centrifugal blower built to push air through ducts.
