The Modine PDP250 is a propeller unit heater, and Modine states that propeller units must not be used with ductwork. A ducted job calls for the BDP250 instead. The BDP250 has the same 250,000 BTU/hr input and uses a centrifugal blower built to push air through ducts.

What does the 30 in PDP250AE0130 mean?

The 30 in the Modine model number PDP250AE0130 is the control code for a single-stage natural gas control on 115V. A two-stage natural gas PDP250 uses control code 63. Propane builds use control code 85 for single stage and 87 for two stage.
