Which Modine Heaters Use a Pilot

Older Modine gas heaters were built with either a standing pilot or an intermittent pilot. The control code in the model number shows which one. Most current Modine heaters use direct spark and have no pilot. Find your model in our Modine Part Lookup.

Does a Modine pilot assembly work with propane?

Modine 3H37454-2 and 3H37454-1 pilot assemblies work with natural gas or propane. A Modine replacement pilot ships set for natural gas, and propane use needs the pilot orifice changed. The rating plate on the heater shows which gas it burns, so check it before you order.
