Inside the Gemini 180 Series
The Gemini 180 moves 226 CFM, the most air in the Gemini line and a step up from the 150 CFM Gemini 160. It uses the same forward curved injection wheel inside a galvanized steel housing with an integral backdraft damper.
The grille is high-impact styrene, and the unit ships with a 6-inch outlet flange, adjustable mounting brackets, and an integral field wiring compartment.
The GC-180 and GN-180 are AMCA certified and run on a standard PSC motor, with a Vari-Flow EC motor available on request. GC ships as the ceiling version with its grille, and GN ships as the inline duct version. A ceiling-to-inline conversion kit lets you switch an installed unit between the two.
Gemini 180 Parts and Replacement Motors
Replacement parts are available for the Gemini 180. We supply the Gemini grille 615196, the forward curved Gemini wheel 615158, and PSC replacement motors for the GC-180 and GN-180 (Vari-Flow EC motors also available if your original unit used one). What is the difference between the GC-180 and the GN-180?
GC stands for the ceiling fan unit with a grille, and GN is the inline duct version without one. Both move 226 CFM from the same Gemini cabinet, and a ceiling-to-inline conversion kit lets you switch an installed unit between the two. Order the GC-180 for a ceiling job and the GN-180 for an inline job.
How much air does the Gemini 180 move compared to the smaller Gemini sizes?
The 180 is the largest Gemini at 226 CFM. The Gemini 160 moves 150 CFM and the Gemini GC146 and GC148 move 152 CFM. Match the model to the airflow your space needs, or call 773-774-8616 for sizing help.
