150C16DEC Construction and What Ships
The housing and top cap are spun aluminum. The centrifugal wheel uses 100% aluminum backward-inclined blades with a precision cast aluminum hub, factory balanced to AMCA standards. The motor sits in a weather-tight compartment separated from the exhaust airstream, with permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings.
The unit ships with a one-piece fan base that includes an integrated inlet venturi and continuously welded curb cap corners. Lifting lugs are standard under the top cap. An engraved aluminum nameplate shows design CFM, static pressure, and max RPM. The standard maximum operating temperature is 180°F.
ACED 150 Series Ordering and Related Models
The 150C16DEC is one of several ACED 150-size models. The 150C13D uses a 1/2 HP 120V motor, while the 150C15D uses a 3/4 HP motor for higher airflow demands. If a belt-drive configuration is needed for greater static pressure capability, the 150 ACEB covers the same wheel size in a belt-drive arrangement. Call us if you need help selecting the right model for your airflow and static pressure requirements.
