Choosing the Right Drive Type
Both the 100C2B and 100C3B are belt drive. For the direct drive version of this size, see the Loren Cook 100C15DH ACED fan, or compare the full range on the ACED and ACEB parent page.
100C2B and 100C3B Parts
Replacement parts are available for both the 100C2B and 100C3B, including the belt drive motor, the aluminum wheel, the pillow block bearings, and the drive belt.
As an authorized Loren Cook distributor, Heinlein can supply parts for ACEB units even after they leave production, and can source a replacement part or a whole replacement fan for any issue. To confirm your model, check the model tag or use the Loren Cook serial number lookup.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the 100C2B and 100C3B?
Both are belt drive ACEB roof exhaust fans built for the same 18 inch roof opening. The 100C2B uses a 1/6 HP motor and the 100C3B uses a 1/4 HP motor. Call 773-774-8616 with your target CFM and static pressure and we will confirm the right motor before you order.
Are ACEB fans belt drive or direct drive?
Belt drive. A motor turns the wheel through a belt and pulley set that is sized and set at the factory to your specified fan speed. For the direct drive version of this size, see the 100C15DH.
What CFM do the 100C2B and 100C3B move?
It depends on the pulley setup, which Loren Cook sets at the factory to hit a specified CFM at a specified static pressure. Call 773-774-8616 with your target airflow and static pressure and we will confirm the right build before you order.
