The number in the assembly code identifies the speed the fan is built for. A 10D assembly takes this motor. A 13D or 15D assembly in the same size runs faster and takes a different motor, so read the full code and not just the size.

Genuine OEM Parts for 120 and 135 Size Exhaust Fans

Replacement parts are available for the full ACED lineup by fan size, including motors, wheels and top cap assemblies. Units in these sizes also take the 705262 blower wheel, and the faster assemblies take the 103886 motor instead of this one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this motor work in a 120C15D?

No. The 100170 is built for 10D assemblies, which run at 1075 RPM. A 120C15D is a 15D assembly and takes the 103886 motor. Both are 115V direct drive, so the assembly code on the nameplate is what tells the two apart.

Is the 100170 the same motor as the 100172?

No. They are the 1075 RPM direct drive motors for different fan sizes. The 100170 is 1/6 HP and covers sizes 120 and 135. The 100172 is 1/3 HP and covers sizes 150 and 165. Call 773-774-8616 with your size and we will confirm which one you need.
