Finding the Model Number on a Size 70 Fan

The model number is printed on the fan nameplate, not the motor label. Order from the code, since the numbers on an old motor can match more than one part.

If the nameplate is worn or painted over, the Loren Cook serial number lookup will work the code back from the serial number.

Genuine OEM Parts for Small ACED Exhaust Fans

What is the difference between the Loren Cook 100123 and 100122 motors?

The Loren Cook 100122 motor is the slower of the two size 70 ACED motors, at 1/25 HP and 1050 RPM for the 70C10DH. The 100123 only goes in the faster 70C15DH. A size 70 fan with a 10DH code needs the 100122.

Which motor does a size 90 or 100 ACED fan use instead of the 100123?

Size 90 and 100 ACED fans built as 15DH assemblies take the Loren Cook 100133 motor, a larger 1/8 HP motor at the same speed. A larger ACED fan fitted with the 100123 would be running a motor Cook does not list for that size, so check the fan size on the nameplate before ordering.
