Gemini Housing and Direct Drive Motor
The housing is galvanized steel with a forward curved injection wheel and an integral backdraft damper. The fan runs a PSC or EC direct drive motor, so there is no belt or pulley to maintain.
Adjustable mounting brackets set the fit, and inline units have field adjustable intake positions. Gemini fans are AMCA certified and UL and cUL listed.
Choosing Between the Gemini 140, GC146/148, and Larger Sizes
Match the Gemini to the airflow your bathroom needs. The original Gemini 140 Sonebuster is no longer sold as a complete unit, though parts are available for units already installed. For a new fan in that size class, order the Gemini GC146 and GC148, the current model at 152 CFM for ceiling or inline duty.
The Gemini 160 and 180 are also older models no longer sold complete, with parts available the same way. If you are replacing an existing fan, match the model on the unit tag, or call 773-774-8616 and we will confirm the current equivalent for your size.
Gemini Parts, Grille, and Replacement Motor
We stock replacement parts for the Gemini line, including the 615196 Gemini grille, the 615158 Gemini wheel, and replacement motors such as the 615254 for 120 series fans. Many Gemini parts and motors are in stock.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a ceiling and inline Gemini?
GC models are the ceiling version, with a grille that sits in the ceiling over the room. GN models are the inline version, mounted in the duct run away from the room with no grille. A conversion kit lets you switch an installed unit between the two, so match your current setup or call us to confirm.
Which Gemini fan do I need?
Pick by airflow. The Gemini GC146 and GC148 is the current model for most bathrooms at 152 CFM. The older 140 Sonebuster, 160, and 180 are no longer sold complete, so call 773-774-8616 for sizing help if you need more airflow or are replacing one of those.
Can I get parts for an older Gemini fan?
